Often involving long-term projects, these allow Leti and its partners to share research costs and explore avenues within the context of public tenders.

Bilateral agreements

Typically lasting two years, these include medium-term performance targets based on a predetermined timetable, with transfer and operating conditions agreed at the outset.
The project team consists mainly of Leti researchers, who may be joined by our partners’ personnel.

Joint laboratory

Created for a minimum of three years, joint laboratories allow several projects with manufacturing partners to be carried out simultaneously while providing all their needs, including technology transfers. These contracts also ensure equal involvement for Leti’s team and the partners’ team.

Bilateral agreements

In the case of a technology transfer, Leti makes a number of commitments to its partners, including:

• providing them with the necessary documentation for the implementation of processes
• training their personnel in the technologies concerned
• providing on-site technical support and production assistance

PEPITE*: a made-to-measure tool for SMEs

PEPITE, the Technological Innovation for Businesses Platform provides project engineering for short-term projects (6 to 12 months) for businesses that want to use the mature technologies developed at CEA-LETI. It enables businesses in any sector to carry out studies, measurement campaigns and demonstrators, the first step in the technological innovation process.
